As explained in the previous section of the
tour, the prices, shopping basket, etc. are integrated into your existing
HTML code using small amounts of JavaScript.
(If you have an aversion to JavaScript for any reason then there are
other ways of accessing the information directly from the ClientSHOP server
without using JavaScript. Contact info@clientshop.net
for more information.)
You can use the Code Generator to automatically create the small amounts
of code that you need to access the information in your database. It provides
code for the following:
- Shopping basket image (includes number of items in the basket)
- Links to view the content of the shopping basket
- Currency selection (if you wish to support multiple currencies)
- Product price
- Add to basket button with quantity field
